All about crystals and oscillators
Author of blog "The Signal Path Blog" has made an excellent tutorial on clock generators using crystal and TTL oscillators.
In this 4-part tutorial he describes how crystals and crystal oscillators work and their pros and cons. He also made a simple TTL oscillator with invertors and shows us how it performs when heated/cooled down.
This is a very very good tutorial and is definitely worth watching!
